Gaynor has over 30 years experience specialising in family and children law, particularly in public law children proceedings. She was a solicitor for 18 years before transferring to the Bar in 2013. Since that time she has represented Local Authorities, parents, family members and children of all ages either directly, or through their Children’s Guardians and the Official Solicitor in Children Act proceedings, Deprivation of Liberty, Special Guardianship, Placement and Adoption and Inherent Jurisdiction cases.
She is regularly instructed in the most complex and lengthy public law cases involving emotional and sexual harm FII, parental alienation and non accidental injuries. She appears in all courts and frequently acts as a Leading Junior in cases against King’s Counsel.
