Chambers is delighted to recognise the participation of our member Benjamin Rose in Justice Without Limits, the current exhibition in the Great Hall of the Royal Courts of Justice.
Officially launched by the Lady Chief Justice on 27 October 2026, Justice Without Limits celebrates the experiences, strengths and contributions of disabled people and those living with long-term health conditions working across the justice system. Through photography and personal stories, the exhibition brings together people from HM Courts & Tribunals Service, the judiciary and the wider legal profession, sharing their experiences in their own words.
The exhibition seeks to challenge misconceptions about disability in professional life, while highlighting the breadth of visible and non-visible disabilities represented across the justice sector. At its heart is an important message about contribution, representation and belonging, and about the different experiences and perspectives that strengthen the administration of justice.
We are particularly proud that Benjamin Rose features in the exhibition and contributes his own experience to this wider conversation. Benjamin is currently the Treasurer and a member of the executive committee of the UK Association of Judicial Office Holders with Disabilities (UKJOHWD).
There is something especially fitting about these stories being displayed in the Great Hall of the Royal Courts of Justice. A justice system should not only serve the whole community. Those who work within it should also reflect the diversity, experience and resilience of that community.
Justice Without Limits is on display at the Royal Courts of Justice until 21 December 2026.
