Connor Stuart successfully defends soldier in breach of Service Community Order

Connor Stuart successfully defended soldier X following a charge of Absence without leave contrary to section 9(1) of the Armed Forces Act 2006. After arguing that previous proceedings in the Magistrates court had been held illegally under section 181 of the Armed Forces Act 2006, and following additional legal submissions, all matters were dropped against soldier X.

Connor was instructed by Roy Foreman & Co Solicitors. He continues to accept instructions on a range of Court Martial cases and provides representation in connection with appeals before the Reserve Forces Appeal Tribunal.
