Michael Forrest secures acquittal of Youth charged with rape.

Michael Forrest was instructed to defend a vulnerable 14 year old client, who was charged with multiple sexual offences including rape of a child under 13 years, oral rape of a child under 13 years, and sexual assault of a child under 13 years. The case was heard over two days in the Youth Court, with the Court hearing from five witnesses, including a child of 8 years. 

His client was acquitted all off charges before a District Judge, who described it as one of the most difficult cases the Judge had heard in his judicial career; Michael was credited for his detailed and comprehensive closing remarks.
