Michele Stuart-Lofthouse prosecutes defendant charged with Attempted Murder

Michele Stuart-Lofthouse recently prosecuted an attempted murder at Hull Crown Court.

The defendant, an obsessed factory worker, repeatedly stabbed a terrified woman in a "horrifying and determined" bid to kill her after he suddenly lost his temper and grabbed a knife when she rejected his amorous advances.

The defendant was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment.
