Michael Masson secures conviction in sexual assault case

The Defendant faced 8 counts of sexual assault over clothing committed in the workplace against 2 girls in their first job, but he maintained the assaults never took place, that there was collusion and that the allegations were racially motivated. He was found guilty on all counts on 4 July 2025, after a 5-day trial in Hull.

Recorder Langdale KC, passing sentence upon the defendant on 12 September 2025, noted the Defendant’s complete lack of remorse and found the charges covered 70-80 instances of assault over a period of 8 months together amounting to a campaign of sexual assault. He imposed a term of 50 months immediate custody, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a Restraining Order of 10 years each and directed that the Defendant be subject to the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
